Tuesday Israel witnessed a dramatic escalation when about 100 rockets were fired from Lebanon toward northern Israel, targeting the Golan Heights. The IDF retaliated to the rocket barrages, by sending fighter jets to target Hezbollah’s military command centers in Baalbek and other strategic locations within Lebanon. While Israel is expecting a response from Hezbollah, so far there has not been one.
March 15th is the reported date for which negotiations with Hezbollah are supposed to be finalized. Each rocket attack launched by Hezbollah has used tens of rockets.
The IDF fired back at Lebanon conducting airstrikes in Baalbek. Lebanese reports show 2 dead and 10 injured.
