IDF Confirms Soldier’s Death:
The IDF has announced the death of Sergeant Itay Chen, a 19-year-old from Netanya and a member of the 75th battalion of the 7th division. The young soldier was captured by Hamas on October 7th and his body remains in Gaza.
Jerusalem Terror Attack Stopped:
A stabbing attack was averted near a tunnel checkpoint south of Jerusalem. Israel Police say the 17-year-old suspect was shot and killed by security forces after riding on a bicycle toward the checkpoint and pulling out a knife. He proceeded to stab the security personnel. Magen David Adom emergency services say a 25-year-old male civilian security guard and a 19-year-old female soldier were taken to the Shaare Zedek Hospital and their wounds are being cared for there.
Monday Tel Aviv Terror Attack Thwarted:
A potentially devastating attack was thwarted in Tel Aviv Monday, thanks to the Shin Bet and IDF’s Duvdevan unit. The terrorist from the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) comes from the city of Jenin and reportedly planned to execute a suicide bombing in the heart of the city.
Removal of High-Ranking Hamas Operative:
The IDF announced a successful operation against a key Hamas figure in Lebanon responsible for planning terrorist attacks globally. Hadi Ali Mustafa’s neutralization is part of Israel’s ongoing efforts to combat Hamas and its international terror operations.
Earthquake in Northern Israel:
The region experienced an earthquake, initially activating alarms in the Jordan Valley. The Geological Institute later confirmed a 3.8 magnitude earthquake in the Hula-Kinneret Valley area. No casualties or significant damage was reported following the seismic activity.
