The Biden administration, led by Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, has supported Israel’s defense through military aid and by strengthening defense systems like Iron Dome. President Biden made some major displays of support for Israel by sending US military to its shores, giving hugs to October 7th survivors when Israel’s leadership was too busy dealing with war strategies and political tactics and the President even flew into the Holy Land during major hostilities.
During his presidency, Donald Trump made significant moves to support Israel. His administration also brokered the Abraham Accords, fostering peace agreements between Israel and multiple Arab countries, which boosted Israel’s regional security and diplomatic ties. Former President Trump completed a lot of action items on the Israel-to-do-list including making good on a 20-year-long American promise to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and relocating the U.S. embassy there. His administration saw a lot of success with the Abraham Accords under the advisement of son-in-law Jared Kushner, who did a great job at putting ideas onto paper and executing on them. These successes positively affected regional politics until this day, and will probably continue to develop after the war — regardless of the administration in effect.
How have the former administrations contributed to Israel’s success and advancement? Send us your thoughts to info@israeldailynews.org or comment below.
