Demanding early elections, protesters chain themselves outside Knesset https://www.timesofisrael.com/demanding-early-elections-protesters-chain-themselves-outside-knesset/

Tuesday, dozens of protestors chained themselves together at the entrance of the Knesset as a demonstration to hold early elections. The protest was organized by Changing Direction, a climate protest group that shifted its focus since October 7th to include action against the government. Protesters chant quote, “you are in charge, you are to blame,” regarding Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in videos they posted online.

In a recorded statement, one protester attached to a car with a bicycle lock said, quote, “We are blocking the street entrances to the Knesset so that MKs cannot come in or out, and we’re calling for immediate elections. This government is a disgrace, it is the most dangerous and terrible government in the country’s history. They have destroyed every reasonable mechanism that was left here, they brought us to war… they don’t care about the public,” end quote. The demonstration was declared unlawful by police and at least four protesters were arrested in clashes.
