Hezbollah launched approximately 90 rockets from Lebanon into northern Israel, killing two people in Kiryat Shmona and injuring eight others. The victims, a couple in their 40s, were fatally struck by shrapnel while walking their dogs, unable to reach shelter in time.
Israeli forces intercepted several rockets, while others landed in open areas, causing fires that required extensive firefighting efforts. The IDF retaliated by destroying the rocket launchers used in the attack, as police warned residents to avoid areas with debris due to potential explosive hazards.
